Collision Damage Towing

When you're involved in an accident, it can feel like the end of the world. You're probably shaken up, and you might have some damage to your vehicle or your body. You might even be worried about whether everyone is okay.

But we're here to help! We know that being in a car accident can be scary and overwhelming, so we want to make sure that you know where to turn when things go wrong.

What happens next? Most of the time, your car would be taken to a tow yard or a collision repair shop by the towing company. If you are too injured to speak with the driver and are urgently receiving treatment from the paramedics the tow truck driver may take your car to the tow yard. The tow truck driver will not move your car until you, your insurance company, or the Police tell him where to take your car.

If you are not too injured and are able to do so the tow truck driver should tow your car directly to the body shop from the scene of the accident.  This eliminates the need to travel to the tow yard and body shop, saving on storage fees, administrative fees, and towing costs.

In most cases, the towing company will take your car directly to the body shop. Your car can be delivered to the body shop of your choice. In case you do not know which repair shop you prefer, the towing company will recommend one.

Towing Pros Sun City  provides 24-hour towing service that's dedicated solely to helping people involved in car accidents get back on their feet as quickly as possible. We'll respond immediately—no matter what time of day or night it is—and we'll take care of everything from getting your vehicle towed safely off the road to getting your keys back so that you can go home and rest up.

In the event that my car is totaled, what should I do? It may be obvious after a bad accident that your car is a total loss depending on the damage it has sustained. It is generally understood that a total loss refers to an accident when the cost of repairing your vehicle exceeds its actual value.

Suppose, for instance, your car rolls over and you are involved in an accident, there is a good chance that it is a total loss. If this happens, the driver of the tow truck will simply tow your car to the towing yard and then leave it there.

Depending on the circumstances, it may not be clear whether or not your car is a total loss. This is one of the most common instances when your vehicle will be taken to the body shop for an estimate on the cost of repairs.

The towing yard or a salvage yard may take your vehicle if the repairs are more expensive than the value of your vehicle, and when the vehicle is a total loss, it will then be taken to the wrecking yard.

You are likely to receive compensation from your insurance company if you have insurance coverage, as a reward for giving them the title to your car. If there is severe damage to the car, the insurance company may be able to scrap it for the metal value, for example...if your car weighs about 11.3 tons the cash value would be $200.00.

In some cases, an insurance company may pay off the loan on your car and then give you what is left over after it has paid off the loan company. A difference between what you owe on the loan and what the car is worth must be paid if you owe more than what the car is worth.

Find out if there is gap insurance available to you if you find yourself in this situation (owing more than the value of the car). Typically, gap insurance pays for the difference between the owed amount and the actual value of the vehicle.
